Capri on the Guad is located at 8570 River Road, New Braunfels, TX on the Guadalupe River. Formerly known as Billy Goats Gruff is now under new ownership/management. Billy Goats Gruff is now known as Capri on the Guad, and we are ready to welcome our guests! The property has undergone a transformation to ready our rentals for the remainder of the 2022 season, with more significant improvements planned from mid-September through November, just in time for the Guadalupe River’s fly-fishing season in December!
Currently, we have five rental options for fun on our Guadalupe River frontage property, the Billy Goat’s NBTX only float-up Bar & Grill on the river and more. What you will find at the Capri on the Guad is attention to detail with many improvements scheduled prior to high season 2023. You won’t want to miss your opportunity to stay with us.
Why do we call our property Capri on the Guad?
Named “Capri” to pay homage to the long-standing property GOAT reference - a name that was given many years ago when the previous owner noticed the goats roaming the cliffs across the river in the early morning hours. “Capri” is believed to have derived from the Latin word “capreae,” meaning “goats.”
